A well-respected attorney with a wide range of legal experience, Russell A. Cohen established Injured Visiting Florida to provide the highest level of personal attention to each personal injury client.

If you need an experienced lawyer in the Florida legal system, Russell bleeds Florida orange. A native of the area, he graduated with honors from the University of Florida and cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law. Licensed to practice law in the state, he has overseen criminal defense and professional liability cases and was also a Miami-Dade County Assistant State Attorney for three years, where he prosecuted thousands of criminal cases. This expansive legal background has earned him a place among the “who’s who” of South Florida lawyers.

While working at a statewide civil litigation firm, he practiced personal injury and discovered that his true passion is using his expertise as a lawyer and negotiator to help accident victims to obtain the compensation they deserve.

Having gained experience working with out-of-towners injured in such locations as amusement parks, airports, hotels, malls and other tourist sites, Russell realized that out-of-state visitors injured while in Florida had specific needs and founded Injured Visiting Florida to address those needs.
