HOW DO YOU MAKE THE LEGAL PROCESS EASIER FOR SOMEONE THAT LIVES OUTSIDE OF FLORIDA? permalink
The biggest aspect is having the experience to effectively work, plan and coordinate with someone out of state. Video conferencing makes it so that we can easily talk face-to-face, making communication clearer. Enabling documents to be signed digitally eliminates the hassle and time-loss of mailing or faxing items back-and-forth. We also have systems in place to effectively work with your local medical providers to get the information we’ll need (diagnoses, invoices, etc.). If the case goes to trial, there are some proceedings for which you may need to be in town. But to make that less of an interruption to your life, we’ll file motions to schedule some proceedings to occur on the same trip for you. Currently, there are also opportunities to schedule some of these remotely over video conferencing (which we’ll push for).
